Alex is determined to help clients successfully grow and steward wealth, and in doing so be an agent and advocate for positive change. He defines success by ‘helping clients pursue financial peace and progress confidently towards their financial goals’. Clients’ financial goals can vary widely, but often include pursuing clarity around financial goals, impact investing and having harmony with family members regarding money. Finally, he teaches on seeing money as a tool for family provision and ministry.
Prior to financial advice at Anthem, Alex worked at HopeWorks for 4 years. There, within the Shelby County Department of Corrections and other various communities within Memphis, he taught ‘Justice Involved’, ‘Adult Education’, and English as a Second Language [ESL] participants how to determine and attain satisfying careers. After earning his Series 65 license, Alex began to use his passion to help others in the financial advice field. Alex enjoys leveraging the same personal introspection, goal achievement, and relationship building skills in financial advice.
Alex and his wife Miranda have 2 beautiful children. He soaks up every moment the whole family gathers, whether it be dancing parties, making up funny songs, or simply running and screaming through the house. He spends much of his free time teaching Sunday School Class and ministering at Highland Church of Christ as well as staying connected & volunteering at HopeWorks.
